Building Champions at Life
Sunshine State Scrimmage will be held on January 7th, 2017 at the Walter C Young Gymnasium at 901 NW 129th Ave, Pembroke Pines, FL 33028. Ages 11 and under will compete from 10AM to 1PM. Ages 12 and older will compete from 1PM to 4PM. Be sure to register in advance and arrive early for the event.

Coach Beneby and DJ Woodard were at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida last week for a United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace event.
There are two tournaments this weekend that Peak Performance athletes will be attending.
The 39th National Collegiate Taekwondo Championship will take place in the Field House of the Recreational Sports Facility at UC Berkeley. Click here for more information: NCTA
The 1st Santo Domingo Open International Taekwondo Championships will take place in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. More info here: PATU
DJ Woodard from Peak Performance Fort Lauderdale and several Peak Performance Miami athletes will be in Santo Domingo at this new WTF G ranked event. Good luck to all who are competing this weekend!

The 50/50 raffle drawing has been postponed to Monday evening on March 31st due to the large number of team members who were on vacation for Spring Break. The winners will be notified on Monday, and the results will be posted on our website.
Congratulations to all of the team members on their performance at the Florida State Championships. DJ Woodard qualified to become a member of the Florida State Team, along with several athletes from Peak Performance Miami.
Every member of the competition team has qualified to attend the National Championships in July in San Jose, California. The competition was tough, and everyone did a great job.
We have several upcoming events to help raise funds for the Competition Team. Donations received will be used for travel expenses and competition fees for all athletes attending the events.
On March 28th, we are having a 50/50 raffle. Tickets are being sold at the school and by the Competition Team members. For more details see the events page: 50/50 RAFFLE

The 2014 Florida State Championships will be held on March 22nd and 23rd, 2014. All poomsae, breaking, weapons, color belt sparring, and black belt sparring for 11 and under will be on Saturday the 22nd. Black Belt sparring for ages 12 and up will take place on Sunday the 23rd.
